Erik’s father, Harold E. Larsen, of Larsen Jewelers, was a Master Jeweler with his own manufacturing jewelry store in Great Kills, Staten Island, NY, established in 1949.

In 1965, Erik began learning how to make jewelry & solder with a torch at only 5 years of age. Today, he is a Master Jeweler specializing in handmade jewelry, custom designs, jewelry remodeling, expert repairs, alterations, and stone settings.

Erik graduated from the G.I.A. (Gemological Institute of America) and earned his GIA Graduate Gemologist Degree in Residence in 1980 at the G.I.A. Gem Trade Laboratory in Manhattan. He has received diplomas in Diamonds, Colored Stones & Gem Identification. He provides Certified Appraisal Documents for Legal, Insurance & Estate purposes.

In 2006, Erik completed training at Vision Numeric USA, 3Design CAD Software, for 3-D Computer Graphic Jewelry Designing & Jewelry Modeling, and CAD Manufacturing.
